I'm Soren Arnsbo, the founder and Executive Chairman of Arnsbo Group, an entrepreneurial family of companies operating across the tech, marketing, and media sectors. Here's what has my attention right now.
Building and investing for the long term
Most of my time goes into building, acquiring, and investing in companies, and working with teams who share a long-term mindset. Lately I've been thinking more deliberately about the Lindy Effect, the idea that a business which has already survived its risky early years tends to keep going. With AI moving so fast, I'm especially interested in applying new technology to proven, long-lived companies, improving how they operate rather than chasing hyper-growth at all costs. We still back startups too, including private investments in ventures like Vuuh and Labelhub.
Protecting founder momentum
As AI takes over more of the operational work every month, I keep coming back to what I call founder momentum: the clarity, direction, and drive that's hardest for anyone else to replicate. Across most of our companies we have strong CEOs and partners running things day to day, so my role is to step into the specific projects and decisions where I can actually move the needle. Protecting that momentum is a daily battle for me, and one of my most important responsibilities.
Owning my mornings
My most reliable productivity habit has nothing to do with fancy apps. A couple of mornings a week I get up at 5 a.m., before the rest of the family wakes, and use the quiet hours to clear a few small tasks or tackle the one I've been avoiding. Starting the day already ahead rather than behind sets the tone for everything after. It only works when I protect my sleep and get to bed by 10, so I treat that as part of the same habit.
On the lighter side
When I'm not building companies, you'll usually find me running or on the padel court. I live in Aarhus with my wife Janni and our two kids, and I'm currently training for the 2026 London Marathon, my next after five that included Berlin and Copenhagen. For me the journey matters as much as the destination: building with good people, learning together, and enjoying the ride.
